Nature of Travel:

Holiday: Jamaica was a holiday destination, an escape from the rigours of US business.

Challenges:

  • Enticing my travel companions to explore and try to understand local culture/customs.

Resolution:

  • Convinced my travel companions, who had never before left Canada, to spend a day off the all-inclusive resort.
  • Explored the local market and restaurants, a first step for the novice Canadian travellers.
